Platform Roles

ISaidYeah distinguishes two main roles, each with specific features and permissions.

Venue Admin Venue Administrator

The Venue Admin is the venue manager (reception hall, villa, restaurant). They have full access to platform management for their venue.

What they can do:

  • Create and manage events (weddings, communions, baptisms, birthdays and more)
  • Invite and link planners to events
  • Configure halls, table templates and floor plan layouts
  • Manage the venue's menu and catalog
  • Manage guests, tables and seating for each event
  • Upload documents and manage the signing workflow
  • Communicate with planners via messages
  • Schedule appointments (site visits, tastings, planning)
  • Use the agenda for a cross-event view
  • View venue statistics

Planner Event Organizer

Planners are those who organize their event at the venue (typically the couple in the case of a wedding). They have access to a dedicated area for their event.

What they can do:

  • View their event details
  • Add and manage the guest list
  • View the table layout and assign guests
  • Browse the menu and make their selections
  • Select from the catalog (mise en place, cake, tableau, extras)
  • Manage their appointments with the venue
  • Communicate with the venue via messages
  • View and sign documents

How are roles assigned?

Role How it's obtained
Venue Admin Configured by the ISaidYeah team when activating the venue on the platform. Self-registration as a venue is not currently available.
Planner The user registers independently, then the Venue Admin links them to an event

First access as Planner

After registration, if you haven't been linked to an event yet, you'll see a welcome screen inviting you to contact your venue. Once the admin links you to an event, you'll be able to access all features.
