Quick Start — Venue Admin

Venue Admin

This guide walks you through your first steps on the platform. In just a few minutes you'll have your first event up and running.


1. Log in to the platform

After your account has been activated by the ISaidYeah team, log in with the credentials you received. You'll be taken to the Dashboard, your control center.


2. Set up your first hall

Before creating an event, your venue needs at least one hall.

  1. Go to Halls in the sidebar and click "New Hall"
  2. Enter the name, capacity (min/max), base price and upload a photo
  3. Save — the hall is ready to be used in events

Table templates

While you're at it, create a few table templates (e.g., "Round 10 seats", "Rectangular 8 seats"). You'll reuse them across all events.


3. Prepare the menu and catalog

Populate your venue's offering so planners can browse and choose.

  • Menu → add dishes organized by course (aperitivo, primo, secondo, etc.)
  • Catalog → add extras: mise en place, tableau, cakes, floral arrangements

You don't need to complete everything right away — you can add and edit at any time.


4. Create your first event

  1. Go to Events and click "New Event"
  2. Select the type (wedding, communion, etc.), fill in the details and assign the hall
  3. Save — the event is created with Draft status

5. Invite the planner

  1. Go to Planners in the sidebar and click "Invite Planner"
  2. Enter the planner's email — they'll receive an invitation to register
  3. Once they've registered, go back to the event detail and use "Assign Planner" to link them

The planner now has access to their dedicated area and can start managing guests, selections and communicating with you.


6. Explore the features

From here you can:

  • Create a hall layout with a reusable table arrangement
  • Schedule appointments (site visits, tastings) from the event detail or agenda
  • Manage documents with the integrated signing workflow
  • Monitor everything from your venue's statistics
