Hall Layout¶
Venue Admin
The Hall Layout is one of ISaidYeah's most powerful features. It lets you create interactive floor plans of your halls, positioning tables on a visual map that can be reused for each event.
How it works¶
The layout system is made up of three elements: the floor plan image (top-down hall map), the operational perimeter (usable area within the hall), and positioned tables (table templates dragged onto the map).
Layout Management¶
From the Halls section, selecting a specific hall, you'll find the Layout section where you can create and manage multiple configurations for the same hall.
Creating a new layout¶
Click "New Layout", fill in name and description, upload a floor plan image (top-down view, JPG/PNG supported), and save. You'll then be able to access the Layout Designer to position tables.
The Layout Designer¶
The Layout Designer is the interactive visual editor where you compose the table arrangement.
On the left side you'll find the template palette with available table templates. Drag a template onto the map to position it. Once placed, you can move, rotate and resize each table, and assign a custom label or override the seat count.
The operational perimeter defines the usable hall area. Tables should be positioned within this area. The perimeter can be defined as a rectangle or custom polygon.
Applying a layout to an event¶
Once the layout is ready, it can be applied to an event to automatically create tables in the configured arrangement. From the event detail, go to the Tables tab, use the "Apply Layout" option, select from available layouts for the assigned hall, and confirm.
Existing tables
If the event already has configured tables, applying a layout may overwrite the existing configuration. Confirmation will be requested before proceeding.
Reusable layouts
You can create multiple layouts for the same hall to adapt to different configurations (e.g., 100 guests vs 200 guests). Each layout is independent and reusable across multiple events.
