Creating an Event

Venue Admin

To create a new event on the platform, follow these steps.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Events section From the sidebar, click "Events". The list of all your venue's events will be displayed.
  2. Click "New Event" The button is at the top of the page, next to the filters.
  3. Select the event type ISaidYeah supports several event types: Wedding, Communion, Baptism, Birthday, Corporate Event, Ceremony and Other. Based on the selected type, the form adapts showing the appropriate fields: for weddings the couple name fields will be visible, while for communions and baptisms the celebrant's name will be requested.
  4. Fill in the event information The main fields are: Title (auto-generated based on type and names, but editable), Event date, Hall (selectable from configured halls), Expected guests and Budget (optional). For weddings you can also set a theme, color palette and additional notes.
  5. Save the event Click "Create Event". The event will be created with Draft status.

After creation

Once created, the event will be visible in the event list and you can access the event detail to manage guests, tables, selections and everything else. Remember to link the planner to their user account to allow them to access their dedicated area.
